PTA Thank You - Rags to Riches

Thank you to all of those parents who supported the PTA with the Rags To Riches campaign. We successfully managed to fill a whole van full of bags this morning!

If you didn't manage to help the PTA with the clothing bags, then maybe you would be willing to register for The Giving Machine and support the school by raising some money for them each time you shop online? You don't need to buy anything extra and it won't cost you anything except a few seconds of your time! See the attached flyer if you are interested!

If you would like to keep up to date with what's happening with the PTA, then visit and like our Facebook page, just search for Egglescliffe PTA when you're next on Facebook!

Thanks again for your continued support!

Rags to Riches

Rags to Riches

Did you know that Egglescliffe School P.T.A. can convert your old unwanted clothing, sheets, blankets, curtains, soft toys, shoes, belts and handbags into money that can be spend on resources for our pupils? All you need to do is put any unwanted items into a bag and bring them to school on one of our two collection days!

Please use the bag provided (Yr7), request a bag from school or use a black bin liner and fill it with any of the above items that you no longer need. Seal your bag and drop it off at school in the signposted drop-off zone at any time within either of the two time slots, and the PTA will do the rest!

WEDNESDAY 9th MAY – 3:30pm to 9:00pm

THURSDAY 10th MAY – 8:00am to 10:30am

"There is a real sense of dynamism in the school, which reflects the culture of continuous improvement. It was especially pleasing to note the on-going evolution of a highly collaborative culture, which enables people to share good practice and to learn from each other on an informal basis." - Sheila Warren, Assessor on behalf of idg
