Mrs F. Corner
Director of Sixth Form – Curriculum
Mrs Corner jointly leads the sixth form and has a specific focus on ensuring students make outstanding progress in their courses, as well as making sure the day to day running of the sixth form is smooth along with Miss Crook.
When asked about her favourite thing about working in the sixth form, her response was: “Seeing the difference in the students from the day they arrive to the day they leave, it’s such an honour to see them achieve their potential.”
Miss G. Crook
Director of Sixth Form – Pastoral
Miss Crook jointly leads the Sixth Form and has a vital role, as she is in charge of the excellent personal development programme, sixth form career opportunities and pastoral care of the students. She also works alongside Mrs Corner in the day to day running of the sixth form and ensures students are well supported so they can achieve great success.
When asked about her favourite part of the sixth form she responded with “I love being part of a team that helps and supports students realise their dreams and ambition.”
Mrs J. Wilkinson
Assistant Director of Sixth Form
Mrs Wilkinson is a new addition to the Sixth Form Leadership team but brings a wealth of experience having managed departments and year groups previously. Along with assisting Miss Crook and Mrs Corner with the day-to-day running of the college, Mrs Wilkinson will have a particular focus on the PSHE and registration curriculum; working with students and parents/carers on attendance and our SEND provision.
When asked about what she’s most looking forward to about working as part of the Sixth Form leadership, Mrs Wilkinson said: “I’m looking forward to providing enriching opportunities to guide our students through the threshold of adulthood.”
