We recognises and values the vital role that parents and carers play as partners in their child’s education. We are committed to fostering open and collaborative relationships with families to ensure that pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the most effective support.

We actively encourage ongoing dialogue between home and school and provide regular opportunities for parents and carers to meet with the SENDCo and other relevant staff to discuss provision, progress, and future planning. This partnership approach ensures that decisions are informed, transparent, and centred around the needs of the individual pupil.

Parents and carers who wish to discuss their child’s SEND requirements in more detail are invited to contact the school to arrange an appointment with the SENDCo. We welcome these conversations and view them as essential to delivering inclusive, personalised, and high-quality education.
